Bolton Farm Steadings, Haddington

The steadings at Under Bolton just outside of Haddington, East Lothian, is a distinctive residential development that transforms traditional farm buildings into modern homes.

The development retains the architectural integrity of their original structures, featuring stone walls and exposed wooden beams, while incorporating modern amenities to meet today’s living standards.

Situated in a tranquil location, the steadings offer the peace and quiet of countryside living while maintaining easy access to nearby towns and the city of Edinburgh.

We supplied Copp Crag natural sandstone for this steading development. Copp Crag was a perfect match to mix with the original fieldstone take-downs that were also used.

We hand-dressed all surrounds with a broached finish, droved margins, and droved returns.

Our cottage style Copp Crag walling was used for infills and new stone facades which was in keeping with the architectural heritage of the local area.
