Braidburn Valley Park, located in the south of Edinburgh, is a picturesque and popular green space.
It spans approximately 27 hectares and features a range of amenities, including walking paths, a stream, wooded areas, and open meadows.
The park is known for its scenic beauty, with the Braid Burn flowing through it, creating a tranquil environment for visitors.
For this project, we were tasked with recreating a replacement moulded sandstone urn that had fallen from the park entrance pillars.
The original pieces were collected and brought to our yard at Macmerry where our masons took the sizes and details required to replicate the pieces.
The new urn was produced in Witton Fell natural sandstone and all details were hand carved by our highly skilled stonemasons.
Dunedin Stone was formed in 1990 supplying natural stone for both commercial and residential developments.
We are passionate about Stone and consider your project as our own. Therefore early consultation regarding every detail is paramount to achieving a smooth production run of your order.
